Windows UFO Alien Invasion - Free game, Xcom fans will like

I thank Gareth from Corsair (UK) for hooking me up with this. I like playing it, it does drive the same gurgling innards that made Xcom 2: TFTD so compelling (although it's more like Xcom 1) but it's nowhere near as scary to play as #2.

There is multiplayer too, but I haven't tried it.

Graphics are not bad, but shitty Intel graphics just don't cut it on this laptop unfortunately because I get 10fps at 1024x768, "Normal" settings.

 

Sounds good, i miss not been able to play Xcom: TFTD as it wont work in vista

 

That's so strange. I was actually looking at playing this as well today.

I've not been able to play it on my crappy monitor, for some reason it doesnt like 320x240 or whatever it is. And I cant seem to force it into 640x480! There was always aftershock but I find it massively poo!

My monitor showed on the infomation that it was running at 1920x1200, though you could see the res was tiny, must of been its way of getting it to work

 

Ah, that would make sense. My monitor is off a mate cos mines broke, but its really really crap the max resolution is 1024x768, when I tried to run the xcom fix thing all I got was the out of range message.
