get an old 20's house. with all the lead paint you'll be fine.

anyway, nuclear weapons are so 80's. paveways/cruisemissles will be used instead because of public backlash, dont worry about it mate :)

Build a house out of cheesecake and then coat yourself in it. The nukes will deflect off of you, but the cheesecake will be bitter.

anyways...... 1 = 2 incase you didnt know.

indeed, and it did happen twice! :duh:

i think CK's best bet is to go to ground zero and await some sort of x-man mutant power...
possibly the uncanny ability to spam the interwobbles

Ahh, but thats assuming that when 1 devided by 0 equals 0, and then assuming 2 devided by 0 equals 0. Therfore 1 equals 2. :worried:

There are plenty of people that had unusual cancers and a distinct rise in birth defects in during the timeframe of the fallout. My uncle had a brain cancer which hadn't been diagnosed in Britain for around 30 years before that. And then when he got it, three other people in the local town were diagnosed with EXACTLY the same thing. And that was about 3 months after Chernobyl and he died within 6 months. Certainly not looking to create a sob story but there were effects.

Plus, in Ukraine there is a scheme which brings children over from the area around Chernobyl (whether it is still being run I don't know), but in the 90s alot of kids came over to the UK for 2 or 3 weeks, some of which our school harboured, these three weeks increased their life expectancy by 7 years. Or at least that's what our school told us. Pretty ****ed if you ask me!

Edit: CK you need to relax budday. Watch some southpark, have a beer.

(ok that last joke was bad taste)

I'm pretty certain this was the point being made :p

Anyway - just think of it like this; if the nukes go off in the next 5 minutes, and all life is wiped from the planet, at least you can rest peacefully in the knowledge you spent your last moments on the planet on Bit...

As an alternative - why not "join the open forum" and get out there (peacefully) campaigning for nuclear disarmament? It surprises me how many people are willing to rant on and on in internet forums about how terrible it is that the world has come to be as screwed up as it is, yet just can't be buggered to get off the chair, get out the door, and start trying to facilitate change. Unfortunately, those people who do bother just end up getting completely the wrong end of the stick and blowing each other up.

But yes - why not organise a peaceful rally to bring back into the media focus the debate around nuclear proliferation? I know it sometimes seems futile, but do it enough, and get enough people involved, and you'll start to notice a change...
