I nearly pissed my pants :hehe:

Without you Ck, this place is boring :D

BTW Cardjoe, living your life to the fullest should include facing & conquering your fears, even enjoying the thrill of it, such as skydiving, playing with snakes, spiders, whatever etc...

You know what genuinely scares me?

Joe's ultimate plan! It goes like this:

    Take a fridge.
    Turn the fridge inside out.
Hide inside the fridge whilst you...

    FREEZE THE WORLD!

You’re thinking of 0/0. a/0 where |a| > 0 can be easily defined using limits:

I personally believe that US would only use a nuclear strike as a last option measure. They have numerous less dangerous but fairly devasting forms of attack without the lasting devastation of a nuclear attack. How ever i wouldn't completely rule it out either. Basically i wouldn't stress to much over this as chances are you won't be able to do anything about it. And stressing about is just going to consume you. Just my 2 cent's Oh and nice paraphrase on a classic Monty Python Song earlier in the thread :)

yeah but limits are all cheaty...
I dont dispute the fact it tends to infinity under limits....

its just it breaks the rather simple definition of division

    if 1/0 = infinity..... then 1 should = 0 x infinity

Infinity just a concept that can be approached but never reached, it cannot be treated as it if it were a number. If you do it leads to all sorts of crazy ****.

But it doesn’t. You can’t multiply infinity by anything. 0 * infinity is the undefined bit.

    y2k all over?

for some strange reason I remember hearing something similar about 8 to 9 years ago
and my mom remembered hearing something similar nearly 30 years go
and I've been hearing this 2012 thing probably a lot longer than the y2k, but I don't buy into it as being nuclear and I have doubts about the time

either way though I've probably got the best fallout shelter in michigan
and probably in the top 1,000 in NY
if you're christian or jewish you might be able to validate this for me but I heard the apocalypse would happen after there's peace in the middle east? (from the bible)
and that in itself is rather vague about the time as well

guess we'll just wait and see
