    why on earth does every video on the internet feature terrible mosher music with thrashing as a soundtrack? its extremely annoying and it doesn't seem to be going away either, as even yahtzee's lost his excellent intro/outro songs to some garbage. Why can't videos feature none offensive music like say the eels, the zutons or gomez?

    I've noticed in Day of Defeat that you can unload an entire clip into people and hit nothing but air, or that you get a headshot (complete with blood decal) but nothing happens. I guess its the mechanics of Internet play, where lag compensation has to be taken into account, but it can still be frustrating.

    it's called leading your shot.... Just like in any other game in which you have over 40 ping. Nothing spectacular.

    try dealing with this with 75ping while playing UT99 in IG lowg 155/55 non-zp. GL HF

    Surely TF2 uses the source engine and not the Half life engine like CS does?

    is it not to do with the time taken for the bullet to leave the barrel and reach the target as in real life- is that leading your shot maybe im just saying the same as ghys

    couldnt lag have to do with this rather than a gaming term

    CS:S and 1.6 both have these problems though, not sure if they are caused by the same thing though, I remember complaints about ex_interp abuse in TFC until ETAC was formed and tried to stop it.

    I tend to just aim for the head... but their has been times i've shot and seen the guy move behind the wall and yet I've hit the head... :/ just wtf.

    yet their strength and their speed are still based in a world that is built on rules? Because of that, they will never be as strong or as fast as you can be?

    The video is showing what is known as hitboxes... In counterstrike 1.6 they are actually really good as they aren't too far off, but in counterstrike source they are awful. I always watch people who are awping, and they always aim a good cm behind the guy and they still manage to get a headshot. Hitboxes ftl

    My friend has this for his CS:S name lol.


    I have always wondered how this works with TF2. If CS:S is identical, I can see why I have so many missed HSs.
