    Pft. The lambo. MEH! This:
That. I agree. I was really unhappy.. It was an awesome one too..
I did find it odd that all it took was an RPG shot for it to get blown up, when it's taken hitting trucks, cars, walls, bullets, etc without a scratch.. Meh..

:miffed: Batmobile is a crap :naughty: It sounds like a jet. But the lambo sounds like a LAMBO The Batmobile is ................ :wallbash: Do you know you ARE RIGHT :grr: Batmobile Own.

But I STILL feel sorry for that lambo more than the Batmobile. You saw him crying for it. but he didn't cry for the batmobile

Hey batman can I have that crashed lambo ?

Saw this on Imax today, fantastic barely seems adequate to describe it. Honestly folks, even if you've seen this one already you owe it to yourself to see it in Imax.

Two things I need to mention, first, if you haven't seen it, Heath ledger is every bit as good as people say he is. I reckon he has created one of cinemas truely iconic villans, I won't join the call for Oscar nominations but his version of the Joker is simply awsome. Secondly, I reckon the even with what appears to be some obvious places were scenes have been trimmed, this is a very violent film for a 13 (or whatever it is), personally I will not forget the Jokers magic trick for a very long time - here's a hint, you won't have to wait long for it so pay attention near the start

I'll be a flint in your eyes, but.. the first one was better.

I am not saying it isn't good. The movie is great! Heath marked his passage through the world with the role as the Joker. I can say it is the best villain actin in the history.

BUT... the new batman movie relies too much in tech gadgets. The first one (batman begins) had little FX and hat to count more in the psicological side of the hero. I think the producers of this one put too much pressure in Chris Nolan to appeal to FX...

About "Two faces", i think they could explore him better. Great FX in his face too.

@ supertoad: I hope so. The comic "The eye of the beholder" (wich explains the origins on two-faces) is one of the best (if not THE best) comic book i ever saw!

Right.. because the psychological development of the Joker, the way he goes about picking victims and instilling fear and all just wasn't anywhere near the development of Batman/Bruce in the first one

I had planned to see this twice. Once on friday and again on sataday (today).

When I went to see it at the odeon, a bunch of youths would just not shutup throughout the key points of the movie - some silly fat bitch kept heckling and laughing, god i wanted to shove my boot down her throat but I kept calm because I was with the missus. If I was with my group of friends I would have seriously said "oi, you fat bitch, shut the **** up or get the **** out"

The silly bitch even said "awww this movie is boring" real loud - I mean what the ****, why did you ****ing come to watch it if you werent even going to pay attention and spend most the time talking - then you complain when you dont "get it" because of your attention deficit disorder - jesus.

Really annoyed the hell out of me, sometimes I want to hurt people - is it wrong in these cases?

I went to see it again with a few friends at the IMAX in birmingham - Thats the good thing about IMAX - only the serious movie goers pay that bit extra to watch a movie in all its glory and you know they will shut the hell up and not talk, but enjoy it and soak it in.

It was awesome the second time and you really pick up key bits and watch out for certain bits you wouldnt have the first time.

Heath Ledger stole the show, the scene with him upside down near the end was awesome and really depicted the jokers essence well

This is movie of the year, It is the ultimate Super hero movie and Christopher Nolans trilogy is shaping up to be one of the best ever.

The age old argument of sequels being better than the originals; well this smashes Batman Begins (only just) and takes batman into a whole new world. It fits more perfectly into the batmans darker side and really begins to portray him as The Dark Knight.

    It is...amazing.

I too went to see it at the IMAX today. All my close friends know me as a huge Batman fan from an early age. So having huge expectations of this movie, I can say that it delivered over and above any of our wildest dreams. Solidus is right about serious movie goers being at the IMAX, thank god as well because I would have overreacted if I was in Solidus's situation.

I'm going to be in London next weekend so I'm thinking about watching it again at the Leicester Square Odeon, I think its deserved for such a fantastic movie.

Any predictions of the villain for the third batman movie?

I've watched this film quite alot now and yet I'm still not even coming close to being anything other than in complete awe of it. Everything from Ledger's Joker
the "how I got my scar's" stories in particular were fantastic
through the whole fall of Harvey Dent to Batman accepting his role in Gotham's story. It is simply brilliant.

You got me wrong. What i was trying to say is that the first one was more thinking and less fx. I know it is a movie, but the "sonar" thing was just too forced. But again, i am not complaining, the movie is the second best comic based movie ever! Just after the first batman.

Wonder how long the 3rd film will be, haha.
What's an imax cinema, i'm guessing it's slightly better than cineworld, woo.
