So rude to ask a modder his dimensions! :p

    Heres a drawing

375mm X 205mm X 344mm So Total volume of 26 litres :) The Lian Li PC7 Plus was 50 litres, so Im happy with the reduction in size, almost half! and It still fits a full ATX board with a full length card, It will even fit a 4870X2 with some re-arranging of components...

I'm 100% sure I'm going with all perforated sheet front now, It will be a lot better for airflow and layout, I dont want to sacrafice airflow and optimal layout for a 7 euro card reader :p

I put the shell on this morning before work and it fits great! More photos and a big update tonight hopefully

    Freakin' great stuff!

I was wondering what your dimensions are as I wanted to compare them to my PC-A05B which is slightly bigger (y'bugger!) 490 x 210mm x 381mm - so you officially beat the smallest ATX case on the market. Kudos!

    :)!

I just looked up the PC-A05B, Its awesome! Its almost exactly what I was planning on building originally, a mini PC7 plus, They also had to relocate the power jack :) I like where they fit the PSU in, any trouble fitting your 3850?

    I have a Viewsonic VX2025wm too btw, <3 it :D

    Freakin' is!

None whatsoever, fits in as smooth as butter rubbed on my girlfriends.... a-hem!

We rule! It's a great monitor, got it thanks to Bit-Tech's 20" monitor round up a few years ago.

Ok small update: New PSU position, My original plan wont work, I assumed the 4870 PCI express power cables would stick out the side like Nvidia cards but they stick out the back and hit the PSU... I could raise the PSU up but it would block most of the airflow to the the CPU... So this seems like the best option unless someone else has any ideas? :)

is there room to mount the psu like it is mounted in a LIan Li A05? under the GPU..

the simple answer is to soilder extension wires direct to the GPU so you can make teh connect else where in the case.. lol!

    I like my warranty :D

That was the original plan, but the PSU will intake the air and just exhaust it into the roof of the case and block the IFX-14s access to fresh air, If I mount it as pictured above it can draw air through the front perforated sheet and there is still room for the IFX-14 to draw air from the front.

    Thats the plan anyway...

I assume the PSU won't fit in below the GFX?

You could always just get and nVidia card xD

lol! But I love ma 4870!

Been pretty busy over the last few days so no work done, I did build the PC in an old ATX case so I can continue work on the SFF case and have the guts up and running

About the front panel, and your card reader. Isnt it much nicer to mount it in a MacPro style?

If he was going to go MacPro style, wouldn't he have it vertically?
