    I am after a new TFT to replace my 17" one. Ideally looking for a 20" TFT. I want it to be good quality, have DVI and black. I have seen the DEll ones and these 2 take my fancy:

    Dell E207WFP 20-inch widescreen &

    Dell UltraSharp 1908WFP 19-inch Widescreen

    I know the 1908WFP is a 19" but if people say it is a better TFT then i don't mind losing an inch!! I have also seen this one mentioned:

    21.6" Hanns G HG216DP (I know it is not black but looks nice anyway)

    Not sure which would be the best. The 3 above are around the price that i can afford. If anyone has one or can advise then i would be most happy.

    unimpressed with my E207WFP (next to my 2007WFP) if you can get a 2007WFP I'd recommend one of those, the E207WFP is a little over exposed imo

    heh, more like the one I suggested is just over your budget and wasn't 'just' released.

    review of NEC 20WGX2;

    BenQ FP222W H

    Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW

    Samsung SyncMaster 226BW

    TBH, if you've got the those Dell one's in mind get those...

    Oh and yeah, I know I haven't reccomended ONLY 20" monitors. 20"ers really aren't the rave at the moment. 22"ers and 24"ers are become more popular.

    :confused: It's available for £199.99 (delivered) from Play :idea:

    Alternatively... Samsung SM2043NW(X) (black) / Samsung SM205BW (silver)?
    But does it absolutely have to be a 20" screen, 'coz £200 can get you the 22" Samsung 226BW... and the 22" version of the a/m screen (SM2232BW) for just £182.50?

    I have a 19" Hanns-G which I love to bits so I'd recommend them as a manufacturer although I haven't had much experience with monitors.

    EDIT: It also looks pretty nice. One problem is that mine came with a VGA cable as opposed to DVI but It has a DVI connector as well (just no cable included). Also mine's a different model to the 21.6" as in it looks completely different.

    So hard to find a nice 20" TFT that has good reviews. I really like the look of the Dell's i have mentioned above. The reviews at Dell are good though. Not sure if i should just 'Go for it' and get the dell 20" above?
