Audi... i like audi, especially the 08 ones with the LED running lights. HOWEVER, they are (good or bad - your call) more mature VW's... having driven a LOAD of VW's in the last couple of years, i must say that Audi bores me... they are however not bad cars at all...

I quite like Audi's, the current lineup is brilliant-looking, but I can't help but think they're not quite right for this country - they should do a soft-suspension version for the UK. The "Sports" package on their standard road cars are far, far too harsh.

If I were in the market for a saloon like the A4 I'd go and drive one, decide that it's brilliant, and drive straight to the Alfa Romeo garage and buy one of these:

It's a shame BMW drivers have now migrated to Audi's, it's given them the ****/Chav appeal, for the A3 and A4 at least. I still think the A5 is wonderful, I suspect the RS6 is going to go the same way, but in standard guise it's a nice car.

I'm waiting for the 2009 Challenger, hopefully people will start importing them here soon so I can get one second hand in a couple of years lol

The alfas are cute. very pretty cars.
Petty about their gearboxes being rubbish, though... if it wasn't for that, they'd be near-perfect cars (that AND the price, actually...) they don't retain value at all (at least around here, where the roads are crap, sun burns cars, etc).

lol well if we are going to sweeping statements, yes ;) but you know what I mean, it's always the bling versions that attract them as well, as someone else said, the RS4 is a prime example. It's odd because AMG drivers never seem to be that bad, only the BMW MSport and now the Audi RS drivers do it.

be lucky to be able to drive it back, more like tow it back, or collect the parts as they drop off and post them back so in 3-4 days the whole car would arrive at the dealership ready to assembly like a airfix kit.

Oh and people who drive Merc AMG's mostly are on a hip replacement list, as the average age of a Merc owner is roughly 212 year old.

those people are ok, the bus weighes about 30 or tonne, high wind can push them over as there high sided. The bus driver did the right thing as he let the people on from the car and gave them shelter. If he was struck by the twister whilst driving it could have be alot worse, as you cant predict which way it could go and at what speed it will do it at.

All true. It landed about a mile from a friends house, did about £1million damage, and kept every roofing contractor within 50 miles busy for months!
