@dark energy: very nice model there. if i can find that board in oz, i'm prolly gonna get it cos it's cheap.

I have a request also, can somebody model the up-coming koolance vid-487x2 water block? That's the only missing part from my model then i'm done!

@scooby (or anyone else who would be interested)

Who ever manages to make a front faceplate for SoundGraph's UltraBay in Scetchup or Turbocad2000 (both prefered) i will send them a "Fan Filter" that i have lazer cut for the "Corsair Dominator Airflow" (I have 23 fan filters left) Pic of the filter will be posted tomorrow. (after i find a place to host me pictures)

Ultrabay model must have all the holes for the buttons, ir receiver, Lcd screen, mute light hole, (must also model buttons)

What will i do with this model?

A: I'll have a metal faceplate lazer cut for the UltraBay to mod it..

PS: I'll have spares after ive finished getting them cut. So I will send the modeler a faceplate as well.

@Dark~3nergy, I have a lot on detail on the bike and especially engine that is not really seen. I also render at "PhotonMap-High+AA 0.3" to attain a very smooth render. I have cleaned it up a bit now and my render time has gotten shorter now.

Remember this....my ASUS Maximus Formula board.

Lots of detail and at 8.47Mb. I think your is OK but I also think it would be up to the artist to determine if he or she would like to add as much detail as they want and frankly (depending on the model) less detail makes the model look unfinished.

    @tominated and DarthDVD_AU

Just something to think about. DarthDVD_AU, your request seems simple enough but like I mentioned above I can't guarantee complete accuracy. Do you own the component?

Is this of any use? :)

I haven't done the bottom buttons yet, consider this a guestimate as I don't have the thing, I've been using pictures from the web and measuring/matching so there's a little more to go, I'm sure someone will best my efforts anyway! (some people here are too good with SU!)

That's a great start AsSuLuTo...man you fast. DarthDVD like what AsSuLuTo said he was not done added the rest of the details and your suggestion to get the measurements and a hi-res image I know will help make it a more accurate model.

Here is a new question for you all...any of you guys using Ruby Scripts or Plug-ins for SU to enhance your tool set? Let us know what your using and how you use it so the rest of us may learn from you experience.

This is just one I use:
    Joint Push Pull

You can fine more Rubys and Plug-ins HERE. If you fine one you think is worth trying post your finding here. TY:thumb:

Hopfully this will be better, I bet the dimensions you'll get will be out by a bit as i've done this all by low res web pictures and from measuring against my screen (I also noticed there were what appeared to be two revisions)

Just a note, all the stuff I do is by the alias Jim_Fear, assuluto was my old one which is tied to my email account on these forums :(

I believe there's a pipes tutorial in this very thread.
It will focus on use of the Follow Me tool which is SU's version of Extrude along a path.
