I went for the 2.2 straight six for the economy, I was looking at the 2.0 but really wanted a 6 cylinder model.

Ive been out all day in it mainly on an urban run and its returned about 29mpg. Not bad really, my 2.0 Audi was getting around the same. You do have to work the engine in this though. :)

Good man, as long as it's a straight-6, they all sound lovely :)

Thanks guys, I've been adjusting to manual (it's my first manual), got it Friday, it's been tough :p

However, I've managed to get the hang of starting and don't stall anymore, still a bit rough but I'm getting used to it really quickly.

It's such a fun car to drive, I love it, def recommend getting one, and thing is, there's no-one else with RX8s, least not that I've seen in WPB, maybe 1

Thanks I'll try to get pics after I wash and wax it, it's pretty dirty right now (not saying that's a bad thing :hehe: )

The only thing bad about it is the MPG :( , the 40 or so miles a week I drive cost about $15 so about $60 a month :( and its not like it has the biggest engine Dodge makes it only a 4.7L V8 Magnum

That's not that bad, in comparison when i drove my honda i was paying 50 dollars(last spring) twice a month to drive that, my xterra is about a week and a half with 60 dollars per tank, and gas is not the most expensive here.

Not quite as absurd as the specific output I'd imagine ;)

    Lol... a whopping 130BHP!!!

And besides, 97% the people in the UK would interpret Magnum to be an ice cream...

It's not enough for a 2-tonne pickup with payload. But you guys won't imagine how agile these pickups are. The very rigid frame and suspension will interpret the slightest movements in steering. Maybe one day The_Beast will swap in the 6.7 Cummins with over 100kgfm of torque! :D

If anything it's too much power tbh - a big, heavy V8 in the front, rear wheel drive, and absolutely no weight over the rear axle (when empty), makes for a pretty dangerous ride when it's wet.

    p.s. 100kgfm? 100 kg/femtometre? That's some pretty insane torque right there tbh! :p

    p.p.s. I know kgfm = g*Nm. It's just a unit for non-conformists frankly.
