Scratch Build – In Progress [Project] Modularis Evolution... updated alot!!! nearing completion!

WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO i got my camera back today!!!!!!! its all fixed up im very very happy now :thumright:

I will get outside to do more modding if my holesaw arrives like its meant to!

Well here we go guys the update


Here i start to join the front acrylic accent onto the front of the mobo section




And attached


I then got out the holesaw and after that and some filing and sanding i was left with this





I have decided not to use this fan grill on the front of this but i will use it on the front of the hdd cage

Thats the end of the update but just because i can here are 2 pics that i took as soon as i got the camera to check it was actually repaired


That last one could have done with being a bit brighter but meh

Thats it im afraid but there may be more tomorrow

Well guys here is the next update (mainly just pretty pics )

i started off by marking off bits of the front window that needed to be filed down



And got that all filed and sanded and then took some nice pics of the front

Well guys i didnt get much done today but still here we go

I first joined the front panel to the main motherboard housing so that is another of the modules nearly finished


and then i thought hey i will have a go at etching but.......... i used a sharpened nail strapped to a screwdriver just like i did in college for an art piece and this is what i cam out with its going to be the window of the front panel



And guys i have found out how much fan grills will be if i want them laser cut so if anyone wants to put their name down for one or some then pm me as the price differs a lot depending on how many i get made and i will only get as many as i can get sold

Well guys im back for another bigger update got lots of time to mod today so i used it

Firstly i added in a set of lights that my dad had in the garage roof so that i could see better (they are very very bright and give off a lot of heat so thatll be good for winter )



I then mounted up the front window after some alterations to the size of it so it didnt interfere with any mountings


Then i started mounting up the top window


and then got that finished so that is now a finished module


I then turned my attention to the hard drive module and made the fan hole


I then mounted up the fangrill with a fan for good measure


I then sought about mounting the hdd caddy


And that then meant that i have finished another module


And sooooo i moved on to my psu module... and i didnt like the bondo/body filler on there so i scraped it off


I then cut some mesh out


Then i cut a hole in the side panel of the psu housing


and then mounted the mesh to it with some m3 socket head screws


and that is what i did today

Just a little midday update for you guys (i know its only 11:15 here not midday but still)

Ok this morning i have managed to nearly finish the psu housing the only bit left is the acrylic accents that i may get started on this afternoon depending on time

bassically i just cut a new front panel for it and mounted it up
