Audiences are always dumb enough to fall for it. Politicians in the UK have been using non-answers to journalists for ..... well as long as I can remember anyway. Getting a specific answer to a yes know question form a UK politician seesm to be the worlds hardest task, I always assumedthe USA would be much the same.

I hope Biden comes to the debate wearing oily and greased up overalls and holding a wrench while answering questions and replying to every single question by constantly repeating the words BLUE COLLAR, WORKING CLASS, AVERAGE AMERICANS, JOE SIX PACK, AMTRACK and JOEY FROM SCRANTON. The only way to beat a caricature like Palin is with an even more powerful caricature. Oh and he should mention that "Palin" ryhmes with "Stalin" just to really throw the Repuglies off their feet.

Silly me." *Biden winks cleverly at the camera*. lol This debate could potentionally be the funniest and most exhilirating ever.
Ditto!!! I'm not going to go into the debate, but IMHO Biden clearly showed far superior knowledge and leadership skills. What has annoyed me, having watched and read a number of opinions of the debate, is that Palin is getting so much credit for surviving through the debate without doing another "Couric", despite the fact that she rarely answered a question asked of her; I watched the debate, and have since read the transcript, and cannot find any statements of policy - she constantly lists what has to be done but fails to elaborate on how her and McCain plan to do it!. She may do a reasonable job as governor of Alaska, but that is a low population state that has a good revenue - economically it is very far removed from the rest of the US. Also, I never thought I would see the day that a VP nominee, during a live and internationally broadcast debate, would wink at the camera, and call out to a school class that a family member teaches. Her "folksy" approach may be intended to appeal to middle America, but I found it patronising and cringe-worthy. If McCain wins, prepare for armageddon. Edit - I couldn't resist:
