They normally have to ring up to get it activated and stuff aswell, if it's an install which re-awakens the line they have to do that too

What gets me is the fact that they charge for an 'engineer to come to the property'. I've never met a BT engineer that's come to see my line.

Last time I paid one of these fees (About four weeks ago), no engineer came out when they said they were going to, no phone call to say the engineer wasn't coming, nothing. Still took my money, though. Some of my favourite words got used in the phone call asking where they were and why they charged me to not see an engineer.. Probably didn't help, but hey. Made me feel better about it all :)

Most of the time the engineer just goes to the box and wires a cable across, that's with BT, then you get a letter a week later telling you that your broadband has a dodgy cable at the exchange which they need to switch over and you won't get any broadband for 4 weeks even though you've been paying already and no-one told you.

NEVER AGAIN SHALL I GO BACK TO BT! NEVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    Coach upto Thorpe Park
    Entrance to Thorpe Park.

A grand total of £17, the BK was the most expensive thing too.

    Ah, glad that's settled then.

    Bought a takeaway last night:

    Spare Ribs
    Chicken Soft Noodles
    Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls
    Special Rice
    Toffee Apples

There was enough to feed at least three. Fortunately, I left some as I needed to leave the room.

    QFT.

Also, spoke to the landlord, and he had requested BT leave the connection active, since the last tenants of the place moved out barely two weeks before our move in date, so I phoned BT, did some shouting, and got my £125 back. Now, to spend it on some Strongbow instead.
