    Intrepid Ibex come out today, and with it a new version of gnome. So, here's the lappy's desktop ATM

    Agreed, you should try Intrepid Ibex (the Wubi installer makes it even easier to the windows crowd). But, I'm not THAT much of a linux fanboy to impose it onto people just to get the wallpaper, so here it is: Linkie :)

    You can tell by the download server its new, speeds allover the place (ranging from 30k to 2.5mb, on a connection thats normally about 300k)

    Yeah, unfortunately their servers are getting killed by all the users updating at the same time... but I've gotten used to it. TBH, when the previous two updates rolled out, I couldn't update it 'till about four days later. This time I left the notebook to download the update while I was out. It was done in about 2 hours. :clap:

    Ill probably wait next time, but I had a bunch of people asking me when it was coming out this time so I grabbed it. And then relised i dont have any disks to burn it on to :duh: Chuck it a vm later I think
