Well,
moved some junk around, found some laptops, got the server and some of the laptops up and running, so I took another photo.



Laptops from left to right:
Dell X300+dock, decent surfing and work laptop, got it for free
Toshiba something+dock, (flash ruined the image) maybe a future robot project, also free
Siemens Fujitsu Celsius Mobile H, 2GHz, wireless detachable keyboard and touchpad. cool
Hammerhead XRT, 933MHz, will have WiFi and stuff...
Hammerhead XRT, 800MHz, WiFi, GPS. navigation for boat trips.

The fujitsu had to donate it's HDD for one of the Hammerheads, so that is not running.

Not pictured is my EEE (that I ruined the polarising filter on, cool actually, becouse it is all white to the naked eye, but seen thru polarised sunglasses the screen is normal)
and a Toshiba Satellite P20 that is in bits and pieces...

I have a new lcd panel in the post, usefull in certain situations, unpractical in most..

 

I've made a few changes to my setup.

Firstly I've picked up a new Apple Macbook, which is an amazing little laptop. It certainly breaks new ground. I've also bought a Apple Cinema Display. It's also great. I'd love one of the new 24in ones, but they are bit too pricey! I've also got a new HP all in one printer.

 

What are you using to watch BBC news there Gordy?

It's good, but the software lets it down. It's good but it doesn't cope with the channels that only work for certain hours. You have to re search the channels to get bbc3 or 4 in the evenings and uktv history during the day which is not good!

 

cool gadget. It's pretty impressive how small it is. I expected some kind of big box when you said it was USB

 

the rest of the world doesn't have to deal with our **** analog tv broadcasts that require big huge devices to recieve .

 

It's the size of a flash drive. The only issue is that you need to plug the big fat aerial cable in so it's smallness isn't as useful as it could be.

However with my desk all that cabling mess is hidden so it doesn't matter to me.

Newly arranged setup:

Yup, 4 screens!
The Nec 2690wuxi and the 22" LG are on the Athlon X2 4600 running windows, and the 2x BenQ 17" LCDs are on the Intel Q6600 quad core.
The bookshelf speakers are Behringer Truth B2031A Active studio monitors.
Also have four UPSs in here to run all the stuff.

Still got more stuff to put on the shelves, and clean up the cables in the back.

p.s. The spiderman mouse pad is going away soon. A steelseries I will buy. Oh, and the magic card box on the left is going to be replaced with a headphone amp/switch box.

Bit wierd to quote myself I know, but I've found a workaround for the issue I mentioned above. The Tube software allows you to setup multiple locations so what I've done is have one for evenings and one for daytime. No more searching at 6pm yay!

I have a Freecom as well. You 'gotta love them.

I have my Linux HTTP server under the desk, which I'm still in the process of setting up as, I have had a few problems. I recently wall mounted my dual setup and is a big improvement from what I had before:
