Looks good so far.

Just wondering if a slimline (possibly slot load) rom drive would be easier to mod into the top section instead of a 5 1/2" drive.

you guys have absolutely NO idea how afraid i was while bending the cover, anyways, update
started cleaning up the closet where my dad started, and i continue storing paint in all varieties:

~7 years old rim cleaner

and back in (made a whole shelf of space)

started making the front

Are you putting a bunch of fins in the front?
I have you beat for old paint. I recently tossed out a can from the '70s It had a '69 Ford on the logo.

That looks awesome man, but i have to ask how do you make tubing in sketch up never could figure that out.

i made my sketches up to date

touch sensitive buttons

new motherboard (EVGA 780i Cheesecake) with custom made cooler

ill make foil between the plexi and the cover which has a circuit layout printet on

also, i took another model for the PSU, some random corsair , which is longer than the one i used before, so long story short, less space for fans => change

stealthed the dvd drive in the top ( someone knows if there are slim line slot load S-ATA drives avaiable?

Nice work on the sketches there! And I know what "afraid" feeling you got when bending your cover. To say the least I will have the same fear when I'm going to bend the whole outer cover for my case. God I cant wait

first thing i did was removing the stock cooler and measure


and the cooler ill get built


except that teh Q will be milled into the cooler and not sitting on top

painted the outside black

i think ill give it a light sand and go for another layer

and i fixed the front, will draw the rest of the front on the plex so i can go straight to work when i have vacation

 

There's some very interesting ideas in this mod, that poor Nine Hundred has been gutted!

Your metal working is impressive, particularly on the GPU cover.

 

really impressive the work you done also you have great SketchUp skill

 

I really like what I'm seeing, I'll keep an eye on this one
