The room and desk layout limit what i can do with the speakers, and tbh, it's not like i can use them at loud levels anyway living mid terrace, it's good enough for what i'm doing anyway.

thought i'd add to this with a shot of the chateaux de mort, AKA my room in Clifton, Bristol...complete with stone floor and 10 ft ceilings... :p

Bottom left, my PC, as in my sig, you can see the scythe Kaze master lighting up the front of my Lian Li PC07B with fan speeds and temps.

Above, Dell 2007 WFP (S-IPS model) and Dell P1130 20" CRT @ 1600x1200. 2x Stanton STR8-100 decks and Behringer DJX700 mixer. Thats all connected to a 200W Cambridge Audio PA and 150W Eltax Monitors.

The coffee table is Ikea and the sofa is from Habitat :)

we have 3000+ sq ft. in our house and almost have to walk sideways through most rooms! 18+ years in one house with 4 packrats will do that I'm afraid.

You have plenty of space yet! Carry on.

Haven't redecorated yet, that's coming in the summer. There's a bit of a clash between the flowery wallpaper and the metal posters, I feel..

Vaguely how things should look after redecorating:

The desk shown there is one I'm going to build soon. The plexi section on the left of the desk will house my home server.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't (atleast just) commenting your speakers, but the general way people place their 5.1 sets. I've seen wayyyy too many images where all the 5 speakers are side by side next to the monitor...

Well, heres my humble little office. Its quite hard to get a 'face-on' photo because the room is only about 12ft wide and I can't get back far enough.

    So here goes anyways:

    Setup consists of:
    Apple Mac Pro
    Apple Cinema Display HD 30"
    Apple BT Alum Keyboard
    Apple BT Mighty Mouse
    Apple iPhone 3G 16Gb
    MacPadd
    JBL Creature 2 speakers
    Sky box

Some really nice setups shown here, some that even inspired me to hang two photos on the wall. I like it super minimalist but I had to breakup the white walls somehow.
