Hey my fellow Bit tech online pals!

I have only one question to ask of you fine people today, and that quest is...

I am planning to buy a new monitor currently I have an HP w2207h (22" - 1680x1050) I want to upgrade to the BenQ E2400HD (24" - 1920 x 1080), will I be making a good purchase or will I not? Overall the quality and features these two bring which one comes on top (excluding the actual monitor size that's a given).

The Benq isn't a bad monitor, but there are better ones around. That said, at that price, go for it, it's a worthy upgrade.

Make sure that games you want to actually play on it support 16:9 aspect ratios (and/or make sure you're okay with scaling to non-native resolutions)...

I have your current monitor back home, and I really, really like it. But of course that comes with a heavy IMO attached...

Using your "rating system" I'd say your HP is "good". I'm not so sure about the BenQ. They've made some pretty great monitors in the past (FP241W anyone?), but also a lot of not so great monitors. Also, I'm personally not so keen on the move to 16:9. All in all I think you can do better.
