Nice W/C gear. Those burs on your water block can easily be removed if you take the plexi top off. Copper block sometimes have a few bits left on them from the milling process.

on to the update!
i have sent my case off to wild Bill Owne at www.mnpctech.com to have the rough edges taken off and to get some of that special paint that he dose so well. The case will be a glossy black with lime green & silver pinstripes or lime green & purple pinstripes. I haven’t decided yet. Now all I have to do is to order the rest of the parts and get her up and running!

 

There not machine marks, its where the copper has tawn during milling and created a bur on the edge. I am surprised it got past QC at EK.

I would remove them, as they may break away and damage your pump or even jam and block another water block or rad.

This is the sample pinstripe (von dutch style) design sample we did



After the fresh coat of Gloss Black was buffed out, Brad contemplates the design



The first coat is the neon green, this is "1 shot" brand enamel, you can use this on your car without any prior prep or need to clearcoat after it's applied.


This style of pinstriping was pioneered by "Von Dutch" .. he was a sign painter. it was first popularized by the Californian Hot Rod community in the 50s ...It's done freehand, no stencils, some people will chalk out their design first, but Brad prefers to go completely off the cuff. Heres a video of Brad striping a Lian Li awhile back













Next up is "1 shot" Proper Purple color

so the case is done digital over load is over it was a blast! and i won CPU magazines modding contest and my case will be featured in the June issue. it wont be on the cover, but it will be in there!
