Those memory heatsinks look massive. :D

I've always liked your attention to detail, so I'm just wondering if your gonna leave the waterblock backing plates as they are now? They'd look a lot better if the corners were rounded etc. They just seem to lack those last finishing touches... BTW do I spy a crack on the smaller backing plate or am I seeing things?

All the heatsinks are a bit over the top for me, but the execution is marvelous on most parts :) Looking forward to seeing more of this mod.

    You have a good-eye HaoKi
There is a scratch on the corner of the chipset (smaller) backing plate..
if it was a crack I would have to make another one.
No plans to change the backing plates. I do (generally) like to pay attention to details. But, in this case they will be invisible then the MB is installed. It's all about function..
@fstfrddy : Thanks man.. fstfrddy was kind enough to email me this picture:

WOW!!!!! I am soooo glad to have the internet back! I've had to survive without it for 6 months. I've missed soooo much! I've just spent hours reading the thread from the start! What can I say that hasn't yet been said?

    I LOVE IT!!!

It is now 2:20am here and I've got work at 9:30am so I'm off to bed.

Keep up the good work MS.

YES, Fred's work is beyond reproach. I am proud to say I had a "hand" in the design of those copper tube spacers..:thumb:

    GetStung

I need to do more mock-up to make sure the "ChipStinger" fits..Fred made that block off a simple tracing I did from the Foxconn MB I will be using for the project. It looks wonderful, but I sure hope it fits.. :worried:
