In the packaging business we call that corrugated. Card board is what spiral notebook covers are made from.

Thanks. :hehe: Here we are... talking shop on a tech site about cardboard.

-I have a set of 60mm deltas lying around. You know I love to make ducts, even if I never get to use them.
-CHEEZIT! -ahem... Card stock is ready for the laying of the keel.
-Part retaining devices for when the material is too thick for clothespins. Did I say "clothespins"? I meant "wooden clamps."
-I made some notches in the frame.
-Tab A fits in slot B. The whole rig should disassemble into 3 parts, (if I don't let the glue drip into a critical area.) I started one side of the covers' edge.

You know you could get real technical with windows made from that clear thin plastic you put on house windows in the winter (maybe not in Texas) and shrink it tight with a hair dryer. Very upscale so far.

    I watch.

    Thanks guys.:D
@John - Too fancy. If I do a window it will come from packaging from the recycle bin. -2liter bottle window? I have the back porch turned into a terrarium right now. At 78 degrees, it seems silly too. (It's going to be a hot year here...)
@murtoz - A coincidence? -or planned along with the creation of the universe?:hehe:

If it's made by cheaps it's not really ghetto. despite the materials he may use. :)

The computer I'm on right now had it's humble beings in the home of a tomato box. But like you I wasn't a simpleton, I had chambers. The PSU was in it own box (main support for the mobo) and the HDD was in it's own wind tunnel (one intake and one exhaust). above both of that was the heart, the mobo, and again like you the CPU had it's own direct intake. It's power button was a screw driver touching the header. God that thing was loud as sin but it kept everything cool and fire free

This mod is cool but it will never beat my old tomato box (it will always have a place in my heart)

Powder coat = nice orange coating from the Cheez-its. ;)

As far as the window, my first thought was the clear plastic from a baked goods box -- very clear and it's such a sacrifice emptying the box! heheh
