im ill :/ cant do much since i feel like a pile of sh**
so i decided to at least start to draw the stuff i need to cut out on the aluminium panel

should look somewhat like this


gladly today my painting stuff arived (which makes me look pretty fat :/ )

so what i got: a painters suite, a new pair of protection glasses, some workers gloves, a set of one way medical gloves and a wickedly cool looking respirator mask

after building all this, i came up with the idea of a removeable harddrive tray which will add more strenght to the entire construction, brb sketching time

 

so well, ive made a hdd vibration damper


and the vibration damping material


testing if everything sits


finished

its not THAT accurate, because its hidden anyways




now ill think about the tubelayout from down there to the rest of the setup

thats not a streetsign freebie my dad brought those signs from work, they are old, scratched signs for ashopping center, i hope he can gather some more, because im slowly running out of these panels
mostly because the lower part is roughly done now

after 4 days of work, i got all this
first i remade the harddrive frame

made a frame for the base

bought some stuff

glued some stuff

some bondo, some sanding, and some glue

well that'll take a while

mostly because i have to glue, bondo and sand every single part to the end because i cant get to it after ive glued the next part on

somewhen in betweeen i painted the frame black and and added some felt

also ive won the mod of the month @ bittech

 

Congrats on motm! I have a 900 as well, have grown to dislike its look but what you're doing looks very innovative!
