Yeah I downloaded a copy of samurize last night and thats what I came up with after about 4 hours of playing... planning to put some RSS in it and some quick links to frequent folders/programs. Also the dark area needs to be scaled and polished up a bit more in PS once all the apps are in place

Was bored so started messin with photoshop

 

Thanks to "Editor" for reminding me about Samurize, it's got better than it was last time I used it..

played around a little, for now I'v made a info-area about my storage server,
made it so that a tooltip pops up telling me the name of each drive, and if I click it, the folder for the drive opens.
the name of the server is "Aleksserver1", and if I click the headline, it opens the windows remote desktop-thing, directly and logged on to the server.
as you might see, the uptime of the server is less than an hour, had to reboot it to get the "terminal services" to work on the server.
just the lower left corner, the wallpaper is the same as last time

But its normally some arty photo from my multimedia designer housemates collection which she takes on a DSLR, or a nice HD wallpaper of some sort. It used to be hard to get wallpapers in 1920x1200 for a 28" monitor, but not these days

I used this one for a good while, as I have lots of NY posters in B&W in my room, and it fit the theme pretty well

 

No worries dude, been having a load of fun learning it but totally stuck now on a net traffic chart and a Utorrent plug in apart from that its looking a little nicer now.
