Now this actually sounds rather intriguing.

^^ Sounds like a nice little niche product.

Hmmm I can see this as a possible media center type device with a wireless usb mouse/keyboard, and if small enough then maybe mount behind a nice large HD screen.

Would be interesting to see if it supports HDCP over the dvi or not.

Never had the pleasure of using a network KVM but im guessing sound is the only thing different from products available currently?

*edit* Nevermind, misunderstood - seems to be more of a 'dumb' terminal type device.

This could be very very good! But i dont really understand how everything is connected.

Is the ethernet port on the card also supposed to handle conventional traffic, or does it go straight to the box? And what is the DVI port on the card for? Is that the way the card receives the display data?

Seems like a solution looking for a problem... There are loads of remote desktop style solutions around, and if you need performance, move the damn machine. As Mankz suggests, there may well be a niche for this product, but personally, I have better things to spend my £100 on.

I like it, I'm sure I could find a reason to have it. :)

Yeah, but as geeks, we are not representative of the market. We'd buy a dog turd if we could overclock it.

I would imagine that the dvi gets plugged into the graphics card and then everything(display, keyboard, mouse) gets transfered to the box via the ethernet cord. The computer would still need its own nic and connection to the network.

Could this be used as a HTPC? Using it to control the server you have all your media on.

    I believe that's the intent.
