Still haven't finished the first game, most over hyped game until GTA4!

I really enjoyed the first game, even if I did only play through it once - did meant to go back through it to see what the new plasmids they added were like but haven't got round to it yet.

A single Big Sister? **** yes! I LOVE uber boss characters that pursue you around the game world, always adds such a wonderful sense of coherience to a game. All sounding pretty wicked to me. Yay!

I'll remind you of that next time you get me to do all the Dahaka races for you in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

Not too thrilled about coop, but the Big Sister idea seems interesting. The one thing that I don't really like is the "kidnapped daughter" storyline. I think it's been done enough times already.

No big daddies or 'little sisters'.. Would have personally opted for a prequel, i don't see the relevance of a random kidnapping and returning to rapture. I still have high hopes it'll deliver!!

Can't wait! Although I am a bit saddened to see the demise of the Big Daddies, I am liking everything else i have read.

Having said that, about Big Daddies, they did get very easy towards the end of the game, so they won't be that big of a loss, but they were still very iconic and set the mood incredibly well. Just seeing them lumber around and banging on Little Sister gratings really made the city feel alive, rather than just a nicely skinned cage for you to play the game.

I think a prequel would have been better to show the fall of Rapture but never know till you played it, hope the story is coherent though and not just something that makes no sense next to the first, as for me it was one of the games major strengths.

If it was a prequel it'd been awesome, playing as Fontaine and such..

    Man if only..

The problem was that game developers thought online is what every gamer wanted, and SP was something on the side or not needed at all. But that was wrong and gamers like both sides, and if you can mix both together online and offline, then that's even better!

no, it's title still stands, I still occasionally pick and have a go with GTAIV. GTA would have had a shot of owning up if the controls weren't so horrible and they didn't gut out more meat than fat.

Co-op would make this game better, I got bored half way through despite liking the game all together.

you realise its highly unlikely to be ONLY co-op
most of the time co-op gameplay is in addition to the SP, you can play through a SP campaign/story on your own or in co-op
i cant think of any game thats done co-op where you cant also play solo

co-op is always better than co-op tho
