Today is another update, more parts update then actual maunal stuff, but anyway...
More stuff came today from CHILLED PC - Tom sent me some nice pump, coolant, Bitspower compression fittings and other bits. He also made some derlin feet for me! Look how cool that looks:

    That looks sweet..:)

    I know:) Thanks John:)

But let me show you what Ive done today. I call it one small step forward and one huge step backward :(

I cut and polish small piece of red acrylic for a "dvd pressing bracket", also mounted my slim dvd so another thing is done.. right?

    Small step forward:

You can see how I mounted the dvd - using velcro pads to make it soft press...

    ..and now...

...here is huge step backwards... I was drilling holes in clear acrylic front panel to make some space for all guts from front ring...
at the last hole I didn't hold the panel strong enough.. and drill pulled the panel up... high enough to... break it... :waah::wallbash:

That mistake costed me 11 pounds today...:(

    Happy birthday!

Ask your parents/friends/girlfriend to buy you a new sheet as a birthday present. ;)

Young man! I think you fail to realize the proper protocols for a Birthday.
This does not involve keyboards and random discussions with thousands of strangers.
Grab a pint and a couple friends or neighbors and log off.

    1. Go to Iraq.
    2. Walk in the sand.
    3. ???
    4. Get new aluminum feet.

That's an impressive break there. Did you do anything fancy for the new laser cut panel?

I've heard the pump res tops are a b*tch to bleed the air out of. Be prepared.:(

Actually I just ordered with same cuts I did myself. Clear panel doesnt have anything fancy, no need. Black one which covers it looks a lot better:)
I hope there won't be a problem with this top, thats why I chose it, not to use fillport only, cause that one was PAIN in the a** last time I used it...

I love them too!:) Cube looks SOOOO better with higher feet! Plus I dont have to worry now about those leds below, they not touching the desk now and all looks better, more massive case:)

Actually I finished all with front panel today, installed new clear panel, drilled holes for bolts, fitted back front panel on it etc.. What I did today also is I cut that long narrow hole for dvd - THAT was Unbelievable!!! I took me 2 hours! :jawdrop: Never again! Order a laser cut, do not do it in hand!:) I thought Im gonna break this one too. So narrow cuts.. slowly filed.. Jees.....
But did it! Also drilled and installed fan controller! and a power button! :) A lot of work was done today, but will make photos tomorrow, I'm too tired to go flash around in living room...
Also got new acrylic glue and glued those triangles for front ring, which you guys didnt see yet. I will show that tomorrow with hopefully already soldered leds:)

So till tomorrow!:) MODDING RULEZ !!!:dremel::clap:

So you got the black panel laser cut? I'm thinking of getting the holes needed in my perspex for project perspiration pre-cut - did it cost much? What company did you use?

Not a fan of those mahoosive feet- a bit overpowering on such a balanced shape.

I understand that you need them for the bottom fan though.
