Hi all this is a intro to a build that iv been planning for a few months and with the first part just arrived then i thought i should start. Im into my watercooling so that will be a big part of the build.

Heres a few pics of my past builds(Clicky):

    [IMG] [IMG]

Anyway lets get on with it, first.

    The hardware:

    i7 920 D0 Stepping.
    Gigabyte X58 UD5.
    3x3Gb Patriot Viper 1600Mhz.
    EVGA GTX285.
    Silverstone DA850.
    2X 64GB SSD in Raid0.

    Cooled by:

    Thermochill PA120.3.
    DDC 18w with top.
    Custom roof res.
    Koolance blocks.

All housed in a custom Lian-li P60 armoursuit.

The build is taking alittle design from the Focus ST which should be apparant over the coming months so to start heres a few of the design stage ideas.

I want to take the case away from the Chavtec 900 looks to a more slick case as Lian's should look.

Anyway that's it for now, thanks for reading. I will update as and when i can with a to-do list and pics of case.

    Brad.

    Small update 26th March.

Well not alot has happened since lat update accept me selling my old rig. Was gunna get a mobo and ram sorted but since copycat Webbo decided to steal all my ideas :001_tt2: ima hold out on getting new hardware for abit and try get this case underway. The welsh watercooling santa contacted me today and twisted my arm into some shiny bits so will have a update for them sometime but for now i have a little first draft of the ST style transfers.

2 and 3 are for each side but im still undecided on what i want written and the colour will prolly be alot lighter to match the mobo like copycat webbo posted . 1 is some viper stripes to run up the front door and over the top that the plexi will be sitting on but even if i have these made im not sure if i will use them but the option is always there.

If anyone has any ideas about the side stripes plz feel free to post as i wanna get this right and dont wanna miss something that will look sweet. Sorry for the big pic but im on the slowest laptop in the world and i have no idea how to crop it in XP paint.... I know chilled is spelt wrong and i want the letters leaning forward in the same blue as my new Ram.

The blue im thinking of doing the internals is the top far right "sky blue glossy" on this massive pic.

I couldnt resist buying atleast some hardware as the price was nice. Will tie in with the mobo and case perfectly, i really wanna get it running ghetto style atleast..

I think painting the internals sky glossy blue would look great.
And wow, that ram is sexy!

    Update 28th March.

Well i dont have access to much software as im on the slowest laptop in the world so had to resort to good old pen and paper for my side panel design.

As the case is only mid tower i thought with the stripes down the side that it would take up too much of the side of it and in turn the window would be pretty small with not been able to see too much. So to make it feel alittle bigger iv decided to run the bottom of the window to the top of the lowest strip with the strip above it running accross the window so there will be a small strip between them you can also see inside the case with. Also playing with ideas of what to have written in the strip.

Not sure if you can make out my idea but heres a pic.

    What ya think?

Kinda waiting on some bits and bobs to be sorted out and parts/money so thought I would make a start on the cables of my PSU ready for some braiding. I am kinda a cheapskate at the moment so used the staple technique and once i done a few i had got the hang of it and were out in no time and all labeled up to make sure they all go back in the right holes.

Still got the 8pin atx and extend the 2 6pin PCI-E cables but wont have any braid till mid next week from Chilled-PC so just gunna do what I can till then. I could of just left it but things like this just make it look that little bit better. Also got some plans for my PSU so should all look very tidy once done.

    Cheers Brad.
