It looks like they're refuelling. Going to take a while though!

It looks like a Galaxy C5 taking fuel onboard in midflight, although, i could be wrong, Mankz, care to enlighten us.

Its true, this is how little aeroplanes are made. When a Daddy plane and a Mummy plane love eachother very much, they refuel in mid air, then the little plane grows inside the Mummy plane for nine months until it's big enough to fly on its own. Sometimes the little plane needs help being born

I'm an aerospace engineer, trust me, this is how it happens...

Edit: Being serious for a moment, it's a C17 refuelling, the stubby wings and (hidden) T-tail are a give away.

Ah, i see those frequently in Toulouse when i fly down to see my grandparents, incredible engineering from Airbus on that, called Guppy's i think, but i'm even less unsure than with mankz images, which looks as if i'm incorect on that too.

They used to use Super Guppies but they were based on a WW2 Boeing design and very out of date so they designed and built their own that were cheaper to run and maintain. They're called Belugas I think and they're used to fly components from all over Europe to Toulouse for assembly.
