Hey guys I got some 1080P Videos when I play them They lag. I mean Like LOW FPS in games.. I don't know why they do that.. I used VLC player Any one got any idea ?
I can't see anything wrong with your setup, just wondering what hard drive you have? it might be cluttered up pretty badly and that might be causing it (though you've probably thought of that already, so I'll just shut up)
Hum The Hard drive is brand new Western Digital Green 500GB also i did defrgmentation Software ? I got the lasted Driver for VGA... No back ground software running... Any idea ?
Can be the Rip that is made poorly, so they dont be benefit from acceleration from hardware and such. I play most files perfectly, but some files just lags once in a while.
could be, make sure it's either x264 encoded or you are playing from Blu-Ray, all others are not very good. Media Player Classic is the best player IMHO Delphium's thread is a great read. im still confused why VLC lags, i used it to watch Wall-E 1080p using 6200 on my Hackintosh (gtx260 isn't supported by Leopard yet) without any lag.
I used this M Player Home Cinema x64 v1.2.908.0 And tried MPC I don't get LAG but I get low frames... According to the programe my Avg Frame Rate is : 20.0 - 22.0
Forgive me if I'm wrong but aren't all movies capped on a certain fraimrate? Like 24 -30? There's no use for movies to have 60FPS
try using taskmanger to set VLC to use only one CPU core and see if it lags. It could be that the loading is being bounced around between all cores causing the lag...
Any way i get slow image so i will go back to 720p ....... core trick didn't work.. it made it to lag more
I believe that VLC has some issues playing .mkv in some cases... I know there was a solution in one of the 300mb movie threads that I frequent... I'll go hunting for ya. found it
guys i installed that ccc it ****ed up the picture... Poor Quality.... Tired CoreAVC also... Installed and uninstalled too many times and it's same thing... i have 2 problems now Poor Play Quality + LAG while play 720 + 1080 I formated the computer and new drivers and every thing... NEW 1TB HD and same thing
Are you sure the video you have is a decent quality? Your hardware is good enough spec to play HD Video...
hey - as above, there is a thread that specifically deals with this, but cutting it short, follow these steps to enable hardware acceleration for FREE on all Nvidia cards with Purevideo engine, and all ATI Cards with UVD engine. Uninstall CoreAVC, CCCP, K-Lite Codec Pack, basically anyting you have tried that is left over, get rid of it, its not required. Download MPC-HC from sourceforge Also get the following standalone filters from the same site: Mpeg2Decfilter.ax Matroskasplitter.ax MatroskaMuxer.ax MPCvideoDec.ax Copy those four files into C:\Windows\system32 then run the following in a CMD window: cd\ cd windows\system32 regsvr32.exe MatroskaSplitter.ax regsvr32.exe Matroskamuxer.ax regsvr32.exe Mpeg2Decfilter.ax regsvr32.exe MPCvideoDec.ax THat registers all of those filters in your installation of windows. Then install MPC-HC (you don't need ANY codec aside from this whatsoever) Run the program, go to options, then Output, and change renderer to EVR Custom Pres. (needs vista or above, or if in XP, make sure you have .net framework 3 installed) Close settings, then restart MPC-HC, and run the 1080p matroska file you have, et voila, you'll see that the mplayerc.exe process uses around 1-2% CPU and video will be smooth at a solid 24FPS or 30FPS depending on what format it is. This is what i do, and on a brand new isntalltion, you don't need any extra codecs, you get hardware acceleration on a half decent video card (works on my 2400XT on the kitchen media box) and means you don't need third party codec packs like CCP or K-Lite, which only server to work for people who don't really care about getting it right. This way, MPC-HC uses its own built in codecs, meaning the rest of your computer remains as it was, no FFDshow, no Haali Media plitter or any of that crap that i really hate a lot.
WOWOWOWOWO This worked perfect !!!! you are the best but i have 2 notes First : This filter name ( Mpeg2Decfilter.ax ) It's ( MpaDecFilter.ax ) Second : I can't install MPC-HC on my pc.. it's just portable files.. I need fix for this.. I need it integrated into windows djDEATH is the best man in codecs
