Received from my hosting service yesterday; Turns out the package included a catch-all mailbox on by default, though it's an address I haven't used for years, since in my early innocence I let it fall into the hands of the spambots. And the mailbox was chock-full of spam built up since I joined this host three years ago. Now the server space is down to 168 Meg and
You mean, you didn't want a longer penis for the last three years? They'd think if you didn't reply after the first 4,000 emails, you might not want it.
I love spam mail. I've had 20-30 a day for the last four years on one account alone. Have you taken anyone up on the bigger wang or boobs?
And that is why I have throw away free email accounts that I use each time a company wants my email address and a actual private email address only close friends and family has.
That's immense! How many emails was that cpemma? Other people might like this: http://www.bugmenot.com/
I deleted the lot yesterday without counting, but since then (Sat 8.06pm) and before finding the blackhole option (Sunday 2.37pm, 18½ hours later) I've had 214 more. Nearly 12 per hour, 280 per day.
Ouch, i don't get many at all, hardly any with googlemail, and no more than 10 a week with hotmail, maybe i'm one of the lucky ones. Looks like MensHealth have some obsession (11 emails just there) with you though cpemma. Sam
yes, he apparently has a credit card and bank loan with MensHealth. i didn't know they offered those services
that is insane... my old Yahell account was nearing 6000+ messages thanks to endless spam. I love yahell's blackhole for storage. Right now, im using a private email for friends and family, and i rarely get spam. Only get it when my friends msn gets hacked.
With my yahoo account I hardly ever get spam, maybe 1 spam per 2 weeks With AOL (I do not like AOL, they spam so much when you open there browser) I get spam every day
heh, most of the stuff would go to the "Hell" folder (spam folder) but there was a lot of it in the Inbox as well. What I think was funny is I got a few saying that someone was intrested in a business proposition. Those Nigerian scam artists must think us americans are really dumb.
I just enable spam filtering in Cpanel and let it do its work I also create one email forwarder for each website I visit, and forward it back to my main email account, which is an address I never actually send email from. Works a treat. Someone sends me marketing email, I just delete the forwarder, and it blackholes
I use GMail for all of my email, the spam filter is fantastic and only about two spam messages a month manage to get past it. You can even host your domain's email directly with GMail you know
