Loving all the Cu goodness, and really looking forward to seeing the individual parts come together!

I used Tarn-X many years ago to clean some old silver, stuff worked amazingly well, but the directions must be followed. I neglected to rinse the pieces after dipping and they ended up looking as bad or worse than when I started.

That is some tough chemistry in that Tarn-X and it deserves that X in its name.

Remember to clean the Tarn-X off when you're done. It continues to eat the copper if you don't.
You might want to store it in the garage too. My batch, (likely from 1984,) ate through the bottom of the bottle.

Interesting in that 1984 commercial the guy didn't use gloves even though it's super corrosive.

I picked up a bottle of Tarn-X today. $8.99 just like you said Langer!

Mino, Canadian Tire is only in Canada. But you may be able to find Tarn-X in other stores near you.

It looks beautiful even with that alien green tape on it.

Langer could you make one or two pictures of the inside of those Aquagrafx.
I have always wondered how those beauties look on the inside but never found a decent review.

Tarn-X is NOT to be used on stainless steel, chrome, pewter, aluminum, brass and some other stuff.

If you use it. Read the bottle.
