:hehe: I know, but I'm so sick of the local rides, towns are crap for mountain biking!

I'm really enjoying the car though. I had a drive across the dales today, there are some awesome roads up there. Few too many people out and about though. I might get up early one morning and go for a blast!

One thing that is really surprising me is the Mpg. It's brand new and it's doing 39mpg and according to most people that will get better as time goes on. Perhaps I had low expectations, the only other car I've driven is a craptastic maroon pug 106 that I swear only used half of what you put in, the rest came out the exhaust. :p

As I may have mentioned before , I live in Colorado in one of thw suburbs of Denver. Geologically our area is referred to as a high desert plateau. Anual rainfall is about 12 - 15 inches. The only city in the US that gets more than our 300+ days of sunshine a year is San Diego.

    So what? you say.

Saturday morning I had my car washed and made all shiny blue again.
We had a gentle rain last nice - more like a heavy mist than a rain.
This is what cars in Colorado look like in the morning.

That ladies and gentlemen and Cheapskate is DIRT that the rain brings out of our air.

I think the desert wants us out of here.

PhotoBucket is being nasty to me today. Blame them if the pics are slow or don't show

The dirt isn't in the air as much as it's on the ground, blowing around after a rain and sticking to the water on your car.

That's literally what my car looked like after one smattering of rain in a few otherwise dry weeks, and we have no desert!

I was looking at the fiesta, they do look awesome for micro cars. If the price is right, I might buy one as a winter car. Although I will probably swap the springs with voglands & put some koni yellows in it. Or I could buy a nicely used x-type and use it as a winter beater, while doubling as my lil sis's first car.

    Decisions...

Almost forgot, congrats on the fiesta. How is the steering? Neutral? Heavy? Light?
