I can see great things for this case. Cut the sides off the removable shell, mount them permanently, mount a few radiators and your laughing lol.

    ME wants.

That case looks sweet, now only if I actually had a use for a ITX system. :)

    Lovely case! Me wants too.

Would gladly have it with the setup from the review instead of my current ATX rig.

I have seen and requested from Lian Li already at CeBIT - we're still waiting on it, but I'll get onto them again. Maybe I'll just steal one while I'm in Taiwan in a months time... ;)

If that Lian Li was natively horizontally orientated and had a little bit extra pazzaz such as a thin chrome strip running down the front like they do on some of their other cases I would be all over it. Personally I think it is just a little too plain, reminds me a lot of a NAS box lol. I'm not saying that it's ugly, it is actually quite beautiful in its simplicity but personally not to my taste.

Under the appropriate circumstances it would probably sound like one too :)

Any chance of a better definition of "not too intrusive" when it comes to fan noise? Not necessarily an 'x dbA' type figure but some kind of reference point would be handy - could be looking at the basis of a new, and relatively portable, audio-mangling box :)

I was checking a modded one of these out at PPCs headquarters last week. Interesting little units. I really thought they'd be aluminum though for some reason. No biggie I suppose. Only gripe I'd have about it is cosmetic; I'd prefer a metal front. ;)

Great case for a quiet machine (using external psu and replacing the 120mm fan).

Shame Silverstone didn't think about installation a bit more, I know, it's not a case where you are going to mess around inside regularly, but still, it's Silverstone, so I would hav eexpected better.

Best part about it is that you can fit a normal psu, so you are free to use higher end components or buy a psu thats silent and efficient unlike the crap thats usually included with cases (and with small ones often not replacable due to odd size).

They should have copied the look of the tyr and call it tyr-100:clap:
But then it's probably better that they didn't, or I would be building yet another pc:D

I think they used ZALMAN CNPS8000. It is designed to be a low-profile heatsink

Newegg linky or if you prefer manufacturers site

Not to nit-pick, or anything, but most Shuttles don't support dual-slot cooler video cards. The usual layout has a PCI or PCI-X 1x slot on the inside, and then the video card on the outside.
