another great mod underway from G69T, I love the attention to detail and the sheer amount of engineering that goes into the mods, open a six pack and get out the popcorn and cheesecake and get comfy this is going to be good.

Thanks to all, guys, I'm very happy for your great partecipation. :jawdrop:

I use GTR2, GTR Evolution, Race Driver GRID and Colin DIRT (PC) and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3)

I have writing only some sketches.

    I don't have the sponsors.

Depends on the phases of work. See you soon to the short film about a complete working phase.

    Thanks again to all. ;)

Nice, i also have turned some teflon bearing. I had some problems with the teflon. The turned surface was really rough? Did you have this problem, too?
If not, waht did you do, to get a good result?

Hi again Gianluca, awesome stuff as usual
I have a question for you: It looks like the ends of the clamps are metal, and i assume the alloy must be tightened securely for milling. Do the clamps dent/damage the surface of the alloy and you machine it flat after, or what's the story, because the alloy is perfect!?! Are the black/dark ends/faces of the clamp plastic perhaps:confused:

The mega size cnc bit you have here is an absolute animal :eeek:

Hi mvagusta. Thank you for the compliments.;)
The clamps are in temperated steel. The contact of the mill with the clamps, damaging the inserts of the mill and the clamps.

    Bye ;)

P.S. sorry for my bad English :(

I don't have any problem to worked the material. The only important dimension of my spacers is the thickness, other defects are not important for the assemblage. ;)

I've found using 1200 grit emery paper while still on the lathe is quite good :thumb:
