Wow, just watched a trailer for the new transformers movie. Cant wait. Really, I can't wait. How long can a person sleep without any negative health effects? http://ca.video.yahoo.com/network/100000052?v=4976737
about 7 days i think......... A better way of waiting would be to get yourself put into a medically induced coma. Then all you have to do is get them to wake you up, give you your tickets then you can skip off to the cinema.
By the way, I can't risk actually trying to find the link while I'm at work, but if you google: "Esquire Megan Fox video" there is a very lovely video. [/not a stalker]
silence impudent fool, any cg artist will be watching it in slow mo in hd and be masturbating. who's in?
Which would probably just consist of Michael Bay playing around with Transformer action figures. Who wouldn't want to see that!
oh god i hate him so much. and not just dislike him as an actor. when i see people that even just look a bit like him i want to punch them no
I'm sorry but I'm totally sick of CGI. Every film is totally over-using it now, and 90+% of the time it looks awful. A great case in point is Batman: The Dark Knight. That looked absolutely fantastic because the CGI use was minimised. Take the bit when the truck was flipped over - they could've CGI'd it, but they did a live-action one instead and it looked amazing. In that trailer look at the truck at 2:09. It looks awful, and when it gets crushed it looks even worse. I'm not saying the whole film should be CGI-free, not by a long way, that would be impossible on a realistic budget. But instead of totally bumming CGI I want to see some decent scenes. A perfect example is the last Indiana Jones film - far too much of that was CGI'd, and it ended up looking distinctly meh tbh. Writers and directors think that because we have CGI you can skimp on semi-realistic stunts and decent scenes, instead of just making them in the CGI lab.
Agree on the CGI and Indiana Jones but i thought the last Transformers film made great use of CGI. The bots looked great and did not stick out as obvious CGI. The aircraft carrier being destroyed in the trailer looked pants though.
