Scratch Build – In Progress [Windrider] Shiny steel for charity -Finished and given away-

I have been busy, so haven't done much:

I glued the parts together with Loctite 401. I thought that instead of "mirror like" it would look better when its sanded "frosty". Acryl is 5mm uv-blue.



Did some shaping with my trusty "depurring tool" and sanding paper.







Water sanded and finally polished "Windrider"





My opinion is that frosty windrider fits nicely with that frosty frame.

Here is a closer look for those stripes, sanded and polished 8mm uv-Seablue acryl.




After cold winter, its finally getting warm here in Finland, so i might be rather outside than indoors making mods next weeks.
Allthought i finally should get some parts next week.

Well I can tell you your skills greatly surpass mine lol.

 

I've got some nice ideas when making this case. I think every modder makes attleast one "the case" and i think that this isn't mine, i will start a new one when this is done.

This case needs a table and i got some sponsorship, and lasercutted alumine parts for it, i hope i'll get them soon.

Actually i don't like lasercutting, because its "too easy" but i wanted to add an logo and "Murobbs" text for the table, and i couldn't too it by myself, so lasercuts this time.

"Murobbs" is an finnish forum, i have also got some "sponsorship" there too, user called Sindrom supported my project and donated processor and memorymodules for the project. Allthought i'm going to give this computer away when its done, some hospital or something, not sure yet.

Actually i don't know should i say it as a sponsorship, i made some rodholders for some (finnish word: alihankkija), person which make parts to our company and he promised to make me a favor. Thats why i didn't mentioned the company, because i don't know does the company really know that it is sponsoring me.

And i really have to give you some kudos, because all knowledge that i have in plastics i have got in you, your logs or comments for other users. Thank you!

I really waited to see Finnish Vs. Sweden in sunday but now i hope to see Sweden kicking some Canadians in final.

 

Though I dont care for hockey ( rare for a Canadian to not like hockey ) I am thinking Canada will be wooping everyones butts like usual.
