thank you all

I called the laser cutter guys, but they say that I ordered it in that material, and that's kinda true, damn colour codes. so no refund for me
but I like it anyway, it would have looked much better if it was transparent but it's not bad.


anyway here's an update


UPDATE 23

so... I completely dissembled the case and sanded away (nearly) all the rust and polished it quickly and applied an anti-oxidation thing.

the polish is very rough, but I think it looks better that way. I'll maybe keep the case like this and not paint it.

The only reason that ugly translucent stuff is so common is because it's used for signs. I hate that we are limited to what the sign making industry want.
I think the frame would look good if you could get it blued, (as in gun finish 'blued'.)
-Not something you would have access to, I'm betting...

 

tough luck about the colour codes, but I bet that you will never be doing that again

Really liking the way this case is coming out. I might be pinchin' a couple of ideas (with your permission of course) like the double layer "skin" and the overhang on the front.

Good luck, and carry on regardless of all setbacks and obstacles. It's what we al want. You have no say in this matter

I don't have much free time this time of the year, but I still managed to do some work.

the aquaero is now mounted on the case, I just need to make some cover for the cables in ACryans modder's mesh or what ever it is called.





the red "plexi" doesn't look so bad after all.

and I also got these from Bill at MNPCtech, they are really awesome. I'm definitely gonna use them on more cases.

Great work.. The Aquero looks perfect there in the case..
The red plexi doesn't look too bad but it must be annoying not having the right stuff as I can imagine it would have look even better, yes I know its hard to imagine..
If you lived in england I could of had the plexi laser cut in the right colour for free and then sent it to you as I have the facilites atm.
