    ^^ Sounds good :p

I was out on the my 1.2 for a good 3 hours this afternoon... Loving it more and more every time I go out... Its a really nice feeling overtaking cars going down hills :)

I'm not a proper roadie yet, but I bought my mates old Cannondale off him to get into it, I've only been on a couple of rides after work but it's been good fun so far :).

I'm not really fussed over what type of riding it is at the moment so long as I get out on a bike.

Been to Hindhead today for some very wet, very muddy, and very slippy downhillery, with a few crashes for good measure: fun :thumb: Now off to soak my aching muscles in the bath.

Having said that a super highway of these fixie idiot poseurs would cause just as many accidents.

Got chatting to a guy with one of these today during a quick stop halfway through my ride...

    It looked utterly amazing :)

Anyone here ride DMR Chieftain MK II cranks on their bike? if you do, could you roughly guess or whip it out :D and measure the axle length?

My mate has one of those.
    Nice bikes.

If he was cycling around available for a chat on that bike he wasn't doing it right.

I'm finally taking the plunge and buying a fixie. Got my work to pro-deal (cost minus ten percent) me one of these babies:

23lbs steel fixie, with the option to go freewheel via the flip-flop hub. Will be swapping out the stem/spacers/bar/seatpost for carbon stuff (thinking easton, but may go race face). The tires will also be going, but I haven't decided upon a good set yet (want a semi-slick, with a good bit of traction for when I need it).

Should have it within a week or two.

He said he'd done his 20 laps of the lake and stoped for some water..

Because though it's a nice bike, its not good enough to let him ride on it?

Nice, I've been toying with the idea of buying a fixie, or a nice road bike. I have a good mtb at the moment but want to try something new.
