Anyone know of a cheap as possible S775 motherboard with at least 2 x pcie sockets? I have an old board at the moment (Asus A8N sli-deluxe) with an olllllld dual core AMD CPU but after it crashing a lot I ran a few tests and it seems one of the cores has gone south I have a C2D S775 CPU sat about but want a cheapo mobo to transfer the 2 x 9800 GT's I have on the asus board to a new one. If you can hold on for a couple of days - end of the week, while I finish the hardware upgrades I'm currently in the middle of, I should end up with 2 'spare' Asus P5B Deluxe mb's. If you'd like, one is yours for the cost of posting.

Nice one bud either board is good Thinking about it its an E8400 CPU I got sat about (3ghz stock) these boards are quite over-clockable I think so I should be able to bump it up a bit to say 3.4 or 3.6ghz on a decent cooler and some stress testing
If you want to sell the other board, i'll be extremely interested. I've been looking to get two gpu's going but the other half has told me the cash is going on a holiday.

Could you let me know more about these? I just so happen to have "acquired" (doh!) another 775 motherboard for folding that I don't have a CPU for. Damnit, this is an expensive hobby!
Sorry, Uni, one has gone already and I'll try and ship the board it came out of to coolamasta tomorrow (so coola, send me a PM with address to ship it to, please), the other C2D - first refusal is off-board, and saspro has second refusal after he PM'd me already, so you're out of luck, I'm afraid. PS. I'll do you a nice deal on an ASRock Supercomputer motherboard, once it's back from RMA. Just don't overclock it!
