Well.. After it all starting around 1pm - it finally all finished at 13.31 tonight.. Unfortunately as with hospitals, after it's born the dads shipped out hehe till morning. Well i almost fainted once, while they were trying to give her an epidural with 2-3 min apart contractions which were.. Painful (or looked it to say the least) - Which was scary Anyway - My son. 'Ethan Dalmeny' - weighing in 6 pounds 6 .
Grats !!! Congratulations, I have a couple of my own, they can be frustrating, but if you take things in the right light, they are a never ending source of amusement.....from the funny things they say and do, to the seemingly brilliant observations they make. Nano
I'm sure you were immediately relieved to find out that you won't have to worry about your child being a teenage girl. Nothing wrong with girl children on the whole, but they make too many worries when they aren't little kids anymore. You must be very proud to have a son to carry on the family name. I'm very sure you are happy as well, and that is how it should be. Congratulations!

Hehe thanks guys . Yeah wife and ethan are back home now, 12 hours after birth.. Not bad really.. Both in bed having a well earned nap . Yeah it is our first, very surreal experience. Guess it all begins now. So turning this little guy into a nerd.
Experiments to consider whilst raising him; teach him wrong colours, for the lols - Teach him that the sky is green and the grass is blue and he will believe it forever! Nah, I'm kidding! I'm sure he'll turn out to be just as tech minded as his dad though, that always happens! As someone else said, firstborn boys are a little easier on the mind than girls. I think I'd freak out if my first was a girl
