Thanks mates. I try to make better sketch later. I just usually keep my thoughts in my head, so its quite hard put them on "paper".

Aaha, again i broke my promises. This is first update for this project.

Loads of pictures, i hope you don't get bored while those are loading.

First some markings:

Drilled some holes and did some shaping with my trysty depurring tool:

It should be somekind of airfilter, it needs some modders mesh and mirror like polishing first.

And where it goes???

Ok, so what it does???



It houses two hdd's.

And how to get access for those hdd's, that's simple. You just open the hood.

Today is my sons birhtday, so let's wawe and say happy birhday to Tuukka.

I will continue today with the roof, needed to do some measuring first.
So later you might get better idea how i planned the hood.

 

The work quality is just crazy... Damn you really know how to use that angle grinder and weld!

Because my drawing sucks, i tried to make paper model:



Measures ain't correct, shape should be somewhat near what i have planned.

Allthought my paper models suck too.

You might notice those open areas for the headlights and how i'm going to make case little bigger to make room for the radiator.
