You know, I get all excited when I see a new post, but then am hugely let down when I find out it's just someone bumping it back to the front page with no new content. It's not like that makes him work any faster you know! lol

Well, it's either this or I fly to Oz and poke him repeatedly with a stick until he posts again.

    :checks bank account:

Sorry guys, I just don't have that kind of money right now. Want to start up a collection? I'll chip in for the stick!

    Thanks everyone! :)

@Fisher, Thanks for the enthusiasm mate :thumb:, but it really doesn't matter if this goes to
the back of the train, I'm finding it difficult to make some spare time lately. Hopefully things
will settle down soon and I can show you some new stuff. And believe me I really want to
finish this because I'm busting to start a new project I've been thinking about for a while.;)

I've managed to steal a few hours here and there so the second side panel was made to
match the first and they are eighty percent ( there is still some heavy duty shaping to be done).

The top and front of the side panels will extend over the chassis so some pieces need to be
    made for this.

The pieces need to be routed so they can fit over the inside corners. I'm using a small trimmer
for this, and although the cutter is small, and needs many passes to cut the desired amount,
it's much easier to move around.

The front corners need to be mitered to give a better finish.

Both pieces have been cut way oversize because whether it's the drop saw or my
lack of skill, I need to make cuts over and over with fine adjustments in between
until the faces fit perfectly without any gaps.

So I'll continue until all the pieces are at the required quality, then the pieces will be
glued to the side panels and the shaping will begin. As was the case with the side
panels, most of the material you see here will be removed in the shaping process.
