today just a very short update....the plexi pieces for the top and side window are ready....and testwise mounted with doublesided adh. tape....

yesterday we mounted the lower sidepanels.....now only a few details are missing or not in the right place....i think in the next days we can finish the most of those little time intensive parts...(new cable sleeving, leds, etc)

 

love how it slides out on a track = win!!

 

Looks just so good than i expected. Really nice work! I would give 5 stars, but i allready did.

today just a short update...the outer body of the case is nearly finished...today we started the cover for the dvd drive so that it can get painted


and hopefully tomorrow we will end this mess (its inside our workshop)

 

Good gosh, I feel like I need to take a shower after seeing that mess!

The case looks awesome; can't wait to see everything installed!

Love that door and the overall look. Did you cut the letters for the side panel by hand?
And how did you make that curved black plexi piece in the pump top?

yeah....the raw cut was done with a fein multimaster and after that the rest was done by hand....like the letters in the the reservoir...

oh that was real easy....we just cut out a plexiglas ring and then it was just sanded down until we got that curve....

like promised we assembled the main parts of the system today...only some covers inside, light and cablework is missing atm...but i think that will be done in the next days....

 

today we started to paint the monitor for this system.....


beside that we add a bit of hexx mesh to the lower sidepanel....atm they are already white....but in the drying process so i think i can show you finished pics of the sidepanels tomorrow...

then we want to Thank Lumitronix for their support!!! Today a box full of Leds for this project arrived so that we could start to solder some led stripes....

today we made a first cover for the inside of the upper part of the case.....

 

wow this thing is so epic !, such an evolution in the making hehe, im very exited to see the lighting in action !

 

no problem today we integrated the first led stripes and here are the first pics of it....tomorrow we will finish this and hopefully made some final pictures....
