That's awesome! Cant beat celtic inspired symphony. I have no idea what my favourite song it as it depends on mood and time of the day, but thins one is pretty epic: (In general most of Hans Zimmers work, but especially this one.)
Really difficult you choose just one track. I don't have a single song that means everything to me, but I have a lot that I appreciate. I wanted to post an Alison Krauss track, but went with Jeff Buckley instead. Both have tracks on my Zen, but I think Buckley's version of Hallelujah has something special.
being as i suck with message boards and youtube i cant post a link Linkin park - In the End or Bon Jovi - Blaze of Glory
1) Go to the youtube video and copy out the URL from the box on the right hand side of the page marked URL. It'll look something like this: Code: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0YTa_15R3U 2) Use the YOUTUBE tags to wrap everything after the = symbol in the URL. So, you end up with something like this (no spaces!) Code: [YOUTUBE ]g0YTa_15R3U[/ YOUTUBE] The URLs for: Linkin Park (live): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0YTa_15R3U Bon Jovi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upenR6n7xWY Chose one, and edit you post. Remember, everything after the = symbol gets wrapped in youtube tags, and you can preview your post if you don't know if you've linked it right.
It's the clean version for family forum viewing but the album version is on youtube. Alternatively any song Jack White has been involved in.
One of the most beautiful complex layered songs of all time IMO. I can put this song on repeat. Voted for it as #1 in the Hottest 100 of all time.
The most beautiful piece of music ever! I know you're only supposed to post one, but this rocks too.... Not only is it good... it also stars my wife in scary "The Ring" mode. Result!
Not a bad choice, but the drummer in me finds SoS to be a more entertaining listen. Also, I've changed my mind anyways
This is absolutely what Drum and Bass is all about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Q9LcKg7-3Q&fmt=18 It doesn't seem to want to embed the high quality version, so just click the link. Embedded anyway, for us lazy folk...
For some reason I still cannot believe T. Pain is from my hometown, or that he took part in that hilarious song.
@notatoad - embedding is disabled for that vid, but I'm sure there's more than one floating around YT
Did you happen to catch them 2 old gits doing 'Layla'? Some people just seem to age well. Layla live is still to melt you heart out! Neither one of them seem like they are even "working" at playing the guitar. Just artistry. john /edit I'm their age. No cracks about old gits!
They keep playing this at rock city on a thurs / sat night, everyone goes crazy for it haha. As for my song of all time, has to be:
It was a pretty damn hard to decide, but in the end the decision was made for me, as this is simply the best song ever made:
