But I finally saw fightclub, and my mind was blown...

...has anyone else delayed seeing a major and popular picture for a similar length of time?

I've still never seen the Godfather, but that is being altered tonight.

I saw Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan on Saturday and it was great!
Not seen Godfather trilogy yet either, mankz. It's on my lovefilm list.

I just saw Raging Bull, and witnessed truly what defines the Sicilian temper.

Wow, that's pretty special. I can't think of anything big I've never seen really.

I've never watched raging bull, but I'm not a boxing fan, so I don't know if I'd actually enjoy it.

There isn't really that much boxing, it's mostly yelling and wife beating.

I haven't seen Alien, I never really considered it one of those movies..

I just saw The Usual Suspects for the first time the other week after wanting to see it for ages, and can't believe I left it so long.

Another one I've never got round to watching (at least all the way through) that I've been wanting to see for ages is Platoon.

It really, totally is. Anything by Ridley Scott is one of those movies!

Boom. There it is, never seen Platoon.

QFT. Alien is totally awesome, definitely one of the most exciting films of its genre, and it still looks awesome even now, nevermind for the 70's.

The Usual Suspects is a great film, I remember the first time I watched it I was blown away by how clever it is.

It's really been ten years since Fightclub was released? Damn... I watched The Matrix the other night on Blu-Ray, another 1999 film, it looked amazing in the new format.

As for not seeing films at the time of release, Blade Runner. I was only one year old when it came out in cinemas though. Bought the Directors Cut on DVD a few year ago, then the Final Cut last week, again, on Blu-Ray. It's an awesome film.

And as for Platoon, if you like Full Metal Jacket and Apocalypse Now, you'll like this.

Heh, Apocalypse Now - another film I haven't seen :(

    Really liked FMJ though.

Blade Runner was also one I didn't see until only a few years ago, but wasn't that impressed TBH.

While I've seen blade runner and the usual suspects, I really struggle to remember any details of it.

Street Car Named Desire, This is on my list of epic films to watch.

Sixth Sense, I watched finally got round to watching it, but wasnt that impressed, I prefered Stir of echos (which came out around the same time I think)

I've never seen Apocalypse Now either. I lost way too many High School mates. My older brother Jimmy spent 4 13 mo. tours In Country and came back 'changed'. I'll skip it for a while longer.
