i totally agree i feel bodoms set was a little too short as they didnt get to play some of their best songs (when i saw then anyway) such as needled 24/7 and are you dead yet.

Machinehead killed it as always one of the BEST bands to see live ever its the 2nd time i have seen them and both times they compltely blew me away with an amazing set and such monsterous energy and just how they get the crowd going.

slipknot - what can i say simply superb started how they ended in a blaze of glory. they opened with my personal fave song surfacing and just keept going with song after punishing song, although they didnt play crowd favourites such as left behind and wait and bleed the set was amazing and i dont think i will see a better gig for a long long time

this was at the M.E.N in manchester so i dont know how other shows varied

Opened with Surfacing in Cardiff too which blew me away, only played two tracks from AHIG and I think the same from Vol.3; loads of oldies but no Left Behind or Wait and Bleed either. Was awesome :D
I might be getting there reasonably late as I'm travelling up from here with a stop in Reading, could probably arrange something though :thumb:

Saw The Prodigy last night in Brixton. Quite possibly one of the best, if not the best gig I've ever been to.

    Period.

Saw NiN and Janes Addiction last night at the O2, utterly fantastic show.. Gary Numan as a special guest and playing cars was just amazing

    (I still wished they'd played Closer though :( )

Aye 'twas a great show even though I had to leave early...and STILL missed the last train :grr:

I think Wolverhampton was better but yesterday wasn't bad for the O2, lots of oldies in the setlist and Numan!

Probably not something that would interest many of you guys but I'm going to Red Rocks on the 21st to see Journey and Heart.

    Red Rocks is memorable!

Definitely a slice of cheesecake win. Well worth the 4 hour journey each way. And there wasn't a song I really wanted to hear that they didn't play.

    Popcorn was also random:thumb:

EDIT: I find it amusing how, my first post (thread start) I said I was seeing inflames, I infact was flu'd up for that one, and missed anything after. 3 years on... here we are :D

I've got Eagles of Death Metal coming up in Oxford in a month and then Monster Magnet in London in December. I really hope Dave is back on form by December, the last MM gig was kind of sad he looked so shy having put on so much weight :(

Oh and hopefully Deadmau5 too, but still waiting on whether a mate can get cheapy tickets.
