kaujazz - are you sure? GeForce 7 series can't fold - only unified shader GPUs can fold. Maybe you downloaded and are folding on your CPU core(s) instead?
Don't want to be rude to kaujazz but; 84? 83? Added an XFX BE 260, gunning at around 7700ppd. My username for f@h is jamamala
Right well 84 it is then! By the way, does anyone know the benchmarks for getting your name in CustomPC? I can't find the latest issue; the first one I've bought since 2007. Back then the entry requirement was 20,000. I'm hoping they make a song and dance about the 1bn points!
It's impossible for a X1k series card to fold right? If it isn't then I'll happily fold it constantly, I can't even get the begger to 40C so heating is still required for me XD
an about an month or so i bring my fold rigs back on line (60K ppd maybe) got an site that will do air con cooling at constant 21c and power for 3 systems (thats around 3KW i could use) for £100 an month secure site as well (id still prefer it to be free) the 140 systems that i have got listed on fah web site stats are dual and single core systems that are running at 82% priorty (so to not mess with system resorces{most are infact at 85% but i am lowering them to 82 when i get back to them}), i still not RMA my GTX 280 that does 3-2k PPD less then 150 computers GTX280 set the fan to 100% or what ever keeps it below 80c or lower if you can as it could die after 4-6 months
Ati 3870.. for 12 hours a day.. p.s i know it lacks ppd than nvidia, but i didnt know about folding then when i bought it.. will be upgrading next year.. when next nvidia comes out (the 300) 65
Congratulations on getting 7 GPUs running on the P6T7 board. I think this is the first successful attempt that I've heard of. Did you try to push the system higher, for example, adding a double GPU card in the lowest slot?
Unfortunately we don't four dual-GPU cards in the lab at the moment so I can't try this out. Given how much better the P6T7 works with folding than the earlier P6T6 I would imagine it would work fine.
