Gotta love the shipping costs some shops charge, don't you?

Great to see you're back at work. :thumb:

Ah, now I see (about the PSU.) :sigh:

It's good to see you back at it.

I love the convenience of online ordering to find those hard to get parts, cheaply... but I hate those stores that ream you on shipping!

Damn that's a lot for shipping lol. I thought I got ripped of for $15 shipping on a $15 piece of plexi (500x500) lol. Coming together nicely my friend, can't wait for more.

    cut motherboard tray
    fit nuts
    glue frame rails
cut pass-through bolt holes in frame
cut optical hole -or leave it for later?

That's taking it one step too far, Cheaps! Modding a case, scratch build, even OTT stuff... okay. Modding your balls just to match the mod... unacceptable!

 Brilliant and feeble minded John! Like peanut butter and chocolate, they go good together.

@Talledega- Google 'Deepgroove 1'. Luck had nothing to do with it. It was cash, lots of cash. I'm still buying stuff for it.

Best to turn ON safe search - after page 7 gets dicey if you don't. So I'm told.

Mint makes everything afterwards taste horrible, except more mint.

OK... Taig DeepGroove 1 should get you less porn.:hehe:
Chocolate and Starburst don't mix. The closest I ever got to blowing chunks on a road trip was caused by mixing the two.

@John - I see you found a way to put the troll EVERYWHERE.:eyebrow: You are evil!

Apologies if you've already been asked, but is that a homemade CNC? If so how much did it cost you to make?

Oops, sorry you two... got distracted again.:D
@Woody - It's not homemade. It was far cheaper and faster to buy this rig for me. The Taig is a really good setup for a mini-CNC. It can even cut stainless steel. With the control software and an extra stepper motor, it was $2015. :thumb:

-I FINALLY got all these buggers cut.
-I polished the riser card clamp. You can see my gluing still sucks.
-Nostalgia bomb time! While cleaning out the garage, I found some game cartridges. -The HELL? I never had a game system...?
-OK... I'm still working out what to do with the CPX Pro pump Danger Den supplied me with. I need something to practice the building concepts on first...
-The DDC top design can help me here. It's put together the same way, and It can go towards the MNPCTech Design Comp #3. -Gotta give back to the community. They have been throwing a lot my way lately.:D
    [IMG]
-I'm going with a 3/4" core this time. There will be fewer layers that way. Big thanks to Metric for mentioning how to increase the number of sides to a circle in SU. Like with the polygon tool, you can simply type in an number and 'S' to increase the resolution. Now I can spoof a true circle pretty well. (I feel stupid for not thinking of this on my own.:duh:)
-Side one. I set the origin point to one of the screw holes. I can flip the part and stay aligned that way.
-But first I had to get the holes to the other side of the block. Mill bits aren't very good for deep drilling. They plug up really easy. Until I finish the core of the top, the room will look like chaos.
-Kids: Remember to pick up your toys!:nono:
-This 3/8 rounded bit was bought for the res project. I thought I'd give it a test run on the intake channel. Right after I took this shot, the material jumped. I had to reset everything and slow the feedrate down 50%.
    -Much better.
-I finished the night up by cutting the part out of the billet. Say hi to BananaMan again.:hehe:
    -Here's the finished core.
-Next up is the plate to screw the barbs into.
