I know what you mean about Grim Fandango 2, the original is probably my favourite game of all time. A remake of GF to be played in hi-res widescreen with all voice actors kept in would be good.

Weren't they working on Full Throttle 2, but canned it?

Grim Fandango was a stand-alone story - I don't see how they could do a sequel, given the way the original ended. Perhaps just using the concept of the original with different characters, but certainly nothing with Manny in it.

They tried to make Full Throttle 2 twice, with one being known as an all-out 3D action game called Hell on Wheels.

Full Throttle needs a remake anyway. God I remember playing that on my first decent PC. Was that 95or 96? Christ, I'm gonna see if I can get it working on this netbook. Any ideas how? I'm using Win7RC.

How about they take a day or two and make a KoToR patch so it can work on Vista and 7?

It does work on Vista. Or, at least, it did so flawlessly when I played it last.

It depends heavily on your graphics card. For example, I'm running an ATI Radeon HD 2600 on a two-year-old Toshiba Satellite - hardly an obscure notebook GPU. KoToR works flawlessly on XP, but an attempt to launch the game on either Vista or 7 is met with a "stopped responding" message and nothing else. Doesn't matter what compatibility settings you apply before or after installation, doesn't matter if you use the original .exe, Securom's "altered" .exe, or a cracked .exe, and in KoToR II's case, it doesn't matter if you use the updated mss32.dll file. Trust me, I've tried it all.

Heck, they managed to alter the version included in their Best of PC pack to work on Vista. They just re-released it for Steam, apparently with full Vista support. But there's no patch to just make it work if you bought the original game?

"You know what'd look good on you? ... The bar!" *SLAM*

One of my favourite moments in Full Throttle. :)

    Bring on the updated versions!

Hmm, while Full Throttle and DOTT would be great, I don't think they warrant a remake yet. I can still play them and have no issues with the graphics. Sure, they're pixelated, but still stylised enough to look good.

I'd much rather see HD versions of Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken and Loom!

Definitely DOTT and Fate of Atlantis. They were pretty much the first games I ever played. Back then if you had 640 K of RAM, 50 K free on your hard disk you were good to go.

    +lots for DOTT.

The other Monkey Island games would be good too - I've been playing it in 'old school' mode on the 360 just so I can wallow in nostalgia :)

I absolutely loved Indian Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, would be very happy to see a remake of it =)

Also would love to see Mercanary - Escape from Targ, but I won't be holding my breath on that one!

I just want another Star Wars space combat sim.

As good as X3 is... there is too much 'faff' in between the 'shooting'. ;)

There is only one problem with a second/remake of full throttle. No more roy conrad. Other than that i would kill to see it, Full throttle has to be one of my top 3 favourite games.

Right next to the Knives and Spoons.

of course they are going to make remakes, Lucas is one of the most uncreative uninspiring lazy ass person I have ever met, after starwars all he seems to do is just sit on his bum and milk what he did from the freaking 70s over and over and over. UGH....
