Joe: The Minis are not specific to the PSPgo. They will work on any PSP.

I know this isnt PSPgo specific but seriously, does that console actually have anyting at all going for it? Expensive, no UMD drive, smaller screen , even more uncomfortable controls, the only thing it has in its favor is that it's more pocketable, but I really dont want another device clogging up my pockets and the old PSP is hardly a goliath.

Yeah, I'm thinking no. I guess Sony's modus operandi is to take a good idea, rip out the pieces that make it of value, and then try to spin it as a Good Thing (tm) to the unsuspecting.

<sarcasm>I wish them the best of luck</sarcasm>

As do Apple with the iPhone/iPod. They're both as bad as each other.

Sod that, think of the game prices!!!! All direct downloads fuelled by console makers are all fail, I can only imagine Sony being worse than microsoft in terms of pricing and Assassins creed on the xbox marketplace is a whopping £20 when you can get it for around or under a tenner in shops, I see the PSPGo games costing £25-30 minimum and never reducing in price. Complete bullcheese

This is the problem with digital distribution, all the publishers are tied to one platform so there's no competition and we get royally screwed on price. Steam is probably the worst offender for this, with its prices being way higher than you can pick it up for at the most expensive retails store (I.E Game)

the minis are like $2. I expect cheap little games. Multiplayer additions wouldn't be cheap.

    Epic Fail Sony!

Didn't like the look of it anyway, so will probably stick with my Custom Firmware PSP2000 :p

I remain a massive Sony fan, I think they achieved a lot with PS1 & 2 and PSP, and although some seem to dislike PS3 (I'm assuming 360 owners) - I still love that machine as well.

But they really have lost the plot with PSP-GO.

That has nothing to do with competition, publishers set the price for digital distribution higher than the retail price to avoid cannibalising retail sales.
